Boston Marriage is vocal centered, using chilling harmonies to paint pictures of mental illness, loneliness, and being your own worst enemy.

In 2016, childhood friends Kris Lane (vocals and guitar) and Melissa Pereira (vocals and guitar) started a new project. They learned to play music together growing up, and their chemistry led to the formation of Boston Marriage. Shane O'Brien (drums) joined shorty after, and they recorded and independently released their debut EP, Personal Space, in April of 2017. Kaylie Sang (bass) later joined the band to complete their sound which has been described as "a combination of the sweetest harmonies and atmospheres that oscillate between haunting and tender" (New Times Broward).

With influences ranging from Death Cab for Cutie to Daughter, the band continuously plays shows in the South East. They've opened for bands such as An Horse, Gouge Away, She Wants Revenge, and Peter Hook & the Light as well as performed at various festivals including The Fest, BumbleFest, Queer the Fest, and Pulp Fest.

Most recently, the band has independently released three singles: Know You Were, Man Who Wasn't There, and Idols. The songs were produced and recorded by Blake Harnage (PVRIS, All Time Low). They are currently in the process of writing and recording new music as they continue to play shows.
